Sunday, September 27th, 2009บริษัท Canonical ผู้ผลิต Ubuntu Linux ได้อัปโหลด wallpaper ของอูบุนตู 9.10 (Karmic Koala). และ theme ซึ่งดูแปลกตากว่าเดิม มี Window Border มีสีแตกต่างกันและ icon สวยขึ้น มี wallpaper 17 แบบโดยเน้นภาพทาง “ดาราศาสตร์”
Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) มีกำหนดออก ราว 29 ตุลาคม นี้,จะเป็นรุ่นที่ 11 ของระบบปฏิบัติการอูบุนตู. ใช้ GNOME Desktop 2.28.0 ซึ่งเพิ่มคุณสมบัติอีกหลายอย่าง เช่น GNOME Control ศูนย์ GNOME Media, GNOME Power Manager และอื่นๆอีกมากมาย.
